The Cross was completed July 2001. New additions have been added, including the Chapel Welcome Center and the Ten Commandments display surrounding the Cross. Plan to visit the Cross on your next journey to Effingham.

In August 2001, a building was moved to the site and will be the temporary reception center as construction continues at the site. Also added were two entrances off Pike Avenue joined by a small parking lot and a sidewalk and ramp leading to the building.
